Hi @Siri China
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.
It sounds like Microsoft Access is automatically switching your input method (IME) to Chinese whenever the cursor moves to a new field. To prevent this and keep Access in English, you can try the following steps:
1.Disable IME switching in Access
Open Access > File > Options > Client Settings > check Datasheet IME Control > OK.
This stops Access from toggling the IME based on field focus.
2.Set Office language preferences to English
Open Access > File > Options > Language > Under Office display language and Office authoring languages and proofing, set English as the preferred language. Remove Chinese or Danish from authoring if you don’t want automatic switching.
If you still need Chinese proofing tools for Word or Outlook, you can keep them installed. This won’t affect Access unless Chinese is set as a preferred authoring language.
