This is a wild guess (since I don't have IME installed), but go to Access Options (under the File Tab), go toClient Settings and check the Datasheet IME Control. Does changing this value have any affect? You may need to close and open the database to see any affect.
Is it possible to disable the IME Mode in Access 2010 Beta?
I have Japanese input method installed in my PC, however I'm not primarily using it. And when I need to create a table or a column, I usually name them in English.
The problem is, it seems that for all fields that contain Text data, IME Mode is enabled by default settings. And when renaming the names of columns, IME Mode is active, too.
For me, it's a bit annoying that whenever I add new columns, tables and records, I must switch to English input method manually again and again.
Is there any solution to the situation?
