Hi there!
This morning there was a Defender update, I have installed it an now it works!!!
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Recently my local hosted IIS services is not running after the new update. My visual studio projects also can't be run as well. I have to delete the new update in order to run my projects and local hosted services again. May I know what is the problem?
Hi there!
This morning there was a Defender update, I have installed it an now it works!!!
Same issue after installing update
Affected also, IIS doesn't work, IIS express doesn't work.
Using .NET since the very beginning and I don't really remember such serious fail for all these years.
Shame on anyone who approved this update to be released.
I have the same issue, both IIS and IIS Express affected. I am unable to uninstall KB5066835 using any of the mentioned uninstall procedures even though I can see the update in my update history. I also have no success after disabling HTTP/2 on IIS or via the registry.
I ran into the same issue. In my case it was my company's production software which hosts local APIs using .NET Framework 4.7.2. These local APIs stopped responding on Windows 11 25H2 machines after these updates were installed. Uninstalling both KB5066835 and KB5065789 resolved the issue.
I placed feedback for the issue in the Feedback Hub, if anyone wants to add similar feedback from it and include all your own details and hopefully MS will actually notice and push a fix for this. This is the link to my feedback https://aka.ms/AAyaic7
