Recently my local hosted IIS services is not running after the new update. My visual studio projects also can't be run as well. I have to delete the new update in order to run my projects and local hosted services again. May I know what is the problem?

As others have mentioned, there was a silent fix that went out this morning that has fixed systems after a reboot.

Any word from Microsoft as to whether this was a one time 'fix'? Concern is systems that have downloaded KB5066835 but haven't installed it yet.

Same issue, this is a big problem!

Uninstall both KB5066835 AND KB5065789 solved it.

    In my case:

we have a websocket service project (Visual studio, framework 4.8), after those two updates, clients can not connect anymore. For me this is not related to IIS

uninstalling KB5066835 did NOT resolve it, but then uninstalling KB5065789 did. never have I ever had to uninstall a kb to fix something for my development; I feel like I have broken the seal and will be forever miserable fighting this kind of crap :/
