    Dear Jean-paul Lanfrey-Denechere,

Thank you so much for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

We understand that you're currently unable to modify or delete calendar events in the Outlook Mobile app (version 4.2537.1) on your Android device. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

This issue may be related to a recent update or a temporary sync problem. To help resolve it, please try the following steps:

    1.Clear Cache and Data

    • Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook
    • Tap Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data
    • Reopen the app and sign in again.

    2.Check Calendar Permissions

    • Ensure Outlook has permission to access your calendar.
    • Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Permissions, and enable Calendar access.

    3.Reinstall the App

    • Uninstall Outlook from your device.
    • Restart your phone.
    • Reinstall Outlook from the Google Play Store.

    4.Test on Another Mobile Device

    • If possible, try signing in to your account on a different Android device and check if the issue persists.
    • This can help identify whether the problem is device-specific or account-related.

5.Try Outlook Web on a Computer

    • Please log in to Outlook Web from a desktop browser and check if you're able to modify or delete calendar events there.
    • This will help determine whether the issue is specific to the mobile app or related to the calendar data itself.

If you’ve tried these steps and the issue continues, please let me know.

Microsoft has acknowledged this issue and is actively working on fixes. You can report it directly from Outlook via: Help > Feedback > Report a Problem to help provide feedbacks.

Please feel free to reply if you need further assistance. Hope you have a wonderful day.

    Dear,

    to your points :

1.Clear Cache and Data:  done without success

2.Check Calendar Permissions:  done without success

3.Reinstall the App: done without success

4.Test on Another Mobile Device:  i don not have the possibility to do that

5.Try Outlook Web on a Computer: this works.

Please note also the the usage of outlook lite works perfectly on Android.

From my perspective the problem comes from the Outllook App.

    Best Regards,

Perhaps it might help if a formal test case is used to reveal this issue. So

Using a Samsung S23 Ultra with Android version 16 and Ine UI version 16 then

Open the Outlook app in Portrait orientation.

Create a calendar entry and make sure you save it.

Select the calendar entry as you would to edit or delete it.

The entry is displayed in the editor but the edit option button is missing - this is the issue.

    Rotate the phone to landscape.

    The calendar edit button appears.

    Rotate the phone to portrait.

    The calendar edit button remains.

The above will happen regardless of what calendar is chosen and also regardless of the email provider.
