I have found that after selecting the calendar entry and then rotating my phone, so that Outlook appears in landscape mode, gets the edit option back. I can then rotate the phone back to portrate and edit or delete the entry.

I can confirm that rotating the phone to landscape and back "fixes" the issue. Obviously, this is not a real solution, but it at least lets you make edits.

I've also discovered that if you have the outlook home screen widget in use, clicking on an event through there gives you the edit option, when opening the same event via the app, and in the calendar view does not.

    Hi @Jean-paul Lanfrey-Denechere

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

It appears you're currently unable to modify or delete calendar events in Outlook Mobile (version 4.2537.1), though creating new events still works.

To help us investigate further, could you please clarify the following:

    1. Are the events you're trying to modify in your personal Outlook calendar, a shared calendar, or one linked to a third-party service (e.g., Google, iCloud)?
    2. Are you using a personal Microsoft account (e.g., @outlook.com, @hotmail.com), or an account provided by your organization (e.g., @yourcompany.com)?
    3. Is your account managed by an organization or IT admin?
    4. Do you receive any error messages when attempting to edit or delete events? If so, could you share a screenshot or the exact wording?
    5. Have there been any recent updates to the app or your device that might coincide with the issue?
    6. If this involves a shared calendar, do you have full edit permissions?

Once we have this information, we’ll be better equipped to pinpoint the cause and suggest a solution.

    Looking forward to your reply,
    Warm regards,
