How can I log into my Outlook.com account with Mobile Wifi? I don't have Home Broadband internet or another device to log into the account.

Hi

I exchanged several messages in late June 2025 about logging into Outlook.com using Mobile WiFi. I cannot reply to the latest message.

I tried adding an Alias. I followed the instructions. When I did this, it was described as a second username not an alias. This does not work.

Shortly I will be unable to access my work email used for security, from home. I need to be sent a text messge to my mobile phone (phone number is saved on my account) or just to be able to use a password when logging into my Outlook.com email account.

I have tried deleting Internet History and using a VPN. Sometimes this works but not often enough. I do not have another dervice I can use and I do not have Home Broadband.

This issue has been causing me a lot of frustration and time. For many years a username and password has been enough to log in.

    Hi

    I have installed WinAuth Authenticator App and added this a security option to my Outlook.com account. It appears to work okay. But I still get the same errors when signing into my account. I am asked for my Password. I enter this and get the same errors mentioned before.

    Under Manage How I Sign In / Ways To Prove Who You Are page, I noticed that only Password is Used for: Account sign in. All the other methods, including the Authenticator app are Used For: Account Verficiation.

    How can I change to so any of the methods can be used for Account Sign In?

    The Two Step Authentication is still turned off.

    If possible, please also ask my previous question:

    If I use an Authenticator app on my Windows pc, can I still just log in using email adress and password on another device?

    I have waited nearly one month for answers to my two outstanding emails in this thread.

    Please can someone reply. I was told that Support would work with me until the issue has been resolved. This has not happened.

    I cannot easily send a new message as I have tried to do this.
