The VB script from Office Support fixed it.
I would suggest whatever that script does be incorporated in some way to the office install so this doesn't happen to people. Major hassle.

I installed the Insider build for Office 365 Sunday, version 1802 build 9020.2003
Now Access will not launch. Not having a problem with other apps that I can tell - Excel/Word/PowerPoint/OneNote/Outlook.
However, when I try to launch Access, I get the following:
"Automatic configuration of the current version of Microsoft Access has failed. Your database might not function correctly. This can occur if you do not have the necessary permission to install Microsoft Access on this computer."
I do have the necessary permission, so that isn't it. I've:
Still won't launch.
It was working just fine on Friday with whatever the previous build of 1801 was.

Can we get access to the VBScript without spending hours on the phone with Support first?
That isn't something that we have access to. You would need to talk to Production support.
