Did you look on the sticker affixed to the PC as I suggested which should have the full Model number as well as the more important Dell Service Tag which gets you directly to the drivers for that build at http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dellcare/en/backupcd_form[Drivers & Downloads | Dell US](http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Products/laptop?app=drivers)
Factory Resetting my Alienware PC Running Windows 7
Someone recently gave me their PC and I would like to factory reset it. However, due to a lot of complications, I have not yet found a way to do this without spending over $100. Here are the complications:
The farthest back restore point that exists on the system is March 3rd 2017, which does not reset the PC to factory settings. I tried clicking "show more options," but no more options appeared. So I can't use restore points in order to reset my PC.
I do not have the Windows installation disc, so I cannot reinstall windows in order to reset my PC.
I do not have a Windows 10 product key, nor do I have a Windows 7 product key. This means if I try to download either of the operating systems onto a disk or external drive, I will have to buy a product key, which I do not want to do.
I cannot think of anything else. Do I really have to pay in order to reset my PC?

2017-04-05T02:19:47+00:00 That's the Service Tag if this is Alienware Aurora at Support for Alienware Aurora | Dell US where you can download the Manual to read how to run Factory Image Recovery, or if you do the Clean Install Windows 10 Download the latest Ethernet LAN or Wireless LAN driver in case it's needed after install to connect to the internet and pull in Windows Updates which will deliver most drivers, then get any others needed from Dell.

I downloaded a Windows 7 setup from heidoc and burned it to a blank disc, but when I tried to set it up, Spwizeng.dll and autorun.dll either "could not be loaded or were corrupt." What should I do in this situation?

2017-04-11T03:16:35+00:00 Are you following the steps in Clean Reinstall Windows 7?
Either the ISO is corrupted or it was not burned to DVD correctly. Use Windows 7 USB-DVD Download Tool to burn to DVD.
Then power up PC while pressing the F12 Boot Menu key, choose UEFI version of the DVD if offered, otherwise DVD drive, then Custom Install, delete all partitions down to Unallocated Space, click next to autoformat and begin install.
There is also the Dell Factory Recovery which is more automated if you can trigger it. The number you gave me above might be the Service Tag if this is Alienware Aurora. You can read the Manual here at Support for Alienware Aurora | Dell US to find out how it says to Factory Recover which is to restart PC while pressing F8 key, choose Repair Your Computer, look for the Dell Factory Image Recovery option to run. If not then the drivers are there if any are needed after the Clean Install.
