IUIResourceMgr::GetDownloadStatus Method

The IUIResourceMgr::GetDownloadStatus method, in Configuration Manager, gets the download status of a program that is currently downloading.

Parameters

sProgramId
Data type: BSTR

Qualifiers: [in]

ID of the program for which to check download status.

sPackageId
Data type: BSTR

Qualifiers: [in]

ID of the package for the program for which to check download status.

ppDownloadStatus
Data type: IDownloadStatus

Qualifiers: [out, retval]

Pointer to a DownloadStatus Class object containing information about the status of the program being downloaded. For more information, see Remarks.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

S_OK
The method succeeded.

Remarks

This method can be called only in the context of the user who is currently logged on to the client.

When the package being downloaded is in the download manifest state, it is possible for the IDownloadStatus::CurrentSize Property property to retrieve -5. In this case, the state value is passed as the current size.
