|---|---|
| NoTruncate | The log is not truncated. All transactions remain in the log. |
| Truncate | The log is truncated. All completed transactions will be removed from the log. |
| TruncateOnly | The log is truncated and the transaction of truncating the log itself is not logged. This option is only recommended when the log is full. |

The BackupTruncateLogType enumeration class is served by the Backup class.
