Win + Shift + S Full-Screen Capture Captures One Pixel Row Less Due to Snipping Toolbar Animation Interference_Win + Shift + S

When using the Windows shortcut Win + Shift + S to capture a full-screen screenshot, the snipping toolbar animation at the top of the screen causes the captured image to include one extra row of pixels from the top—specifically, the toolbar’s transient UI—instead of capturing the true full-screen content.

    Hello GlaciWhisper

Disclaimer: This is the Microsoft Q&A forum for zh-cn language. However, since you have also used English in the description, I'll support you using English. If you need support in your native language, than we will support you using the help of the translation tool. Thanks for your understanding.

Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I understand that you are having issue with the snipping tool on Windows 10 where the tool bar left a pixel on the screen. As I checked, it seems like this is related to rendering on Windows 10 Snip & sketch. This has now been fixed on Windows 11 with the new Snipping tool. So please consider upgrading it if your PC meet the requirements.

If you want to stay with Windows 10 for now, you can consider these alternative options:

    1. Use the legacy snipping tool on Windows 10. You can consider pin it to the taskbar for easy access.
    2. Use the Print screen key and paste it on another program like Paint, it also won't have any issue.
