Windows 11 - Local account on installation

I'm so tired of Microsoft forcing things upon us that we do NOT want. Let us choose a local account on installation. Don't make it so freaking complicated.

Besides that, Windows 11 is pure SPYWARE at this time, maybe it should even be labeled as MALWARE hence it makes things in the background that is hard to detect for the average user. It's almost a full-time job to prevent data leakage, there are tools that helps but it should not be needed. Enshittification has reached next level annoyance.

I don't want an actual answer I just want Microsoft to know they suck. Probably going to switch to Linux and run Windows in a controlled environment, a virtual machine maybe, and block all unnecessary traffic from and to the VM and kill it when done using it. DNS-blocking and disassembling the OS does not seem to be enough to maintain privacy and integrity.

I write in English purely to make the post reach more people, here in Sweden most people speak, read and write English just fine.

    Hi KH,

I had the same lament regarding Windows 11 blocking all ways of creating of Local accounts. I still go back to 10 as 11 is still having issues (high resource usage)

    There is a workaround here

    https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsHelp/comments/1cgrzwt/how_to_make_a_local_account_in_windows_11/

-Bypass using a Microsoft account during the Windows 11 install process by opening a Command Prompt (Shift+F10) and typing ms-cxh:localonly or OOBE\BYPASSNRO

    -Use Rufus

-Use a modified Windows 11 ISO (which is not recommended)

I highly encourage you to send a feedback here. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/send-feedback-to-microsoft-with-the-feedback-hub-app-f59187f8-8739-22d6-ba93-f66612949332

    Warm regards,

    Rez

It's almost a full time job disabling everything Microsoft is forcing upon us, all the things nobody has asked for. So I've actually setup dual boot on my system. I've been finding myself mostly in a Linux environment the last week, trying to phase out some more applications before deleting Windows forever. NEVER going back after that's done.
