ObjectContext::get_Item method (comsvcs.h)

Retrieves a named property.

Syntax

HRESULT get_Item(
  [in]  BSTR    name,
  [out] VARIANT *pItem
);

Parameters

[in] name

The name of the property to be retrieved.

[out] pItem

A reference to the retrieved property.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_UNEXPECTED, E_FAIL, and S_OK.
