Removal of Support for Digital Signatures
XML digital signatures are only supported in MSXML 5.0. XML digital signatures are not supported in MXSML 6.0 and later. Digital signatures were included in MSXML 5.0 to support Microsoft Office, and are not required in MSXML 6.0 and beyond.
