The GetOverlapped method gets a pointer to a Winsock OVERLAPPED structure to use with Windows overlapped functions.
Syntax
HRESULT GetOverlapped(
[out] LPOVERLAPPED *ppov
);
Parameters
- ppov [out]
Pointer to a variable that receives a pointer to an OVERLAPPED structure.
Return value
This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.
Remarks
The handle used with the OVERLAPPED structure must first be hooked into the completion port of the Microsoft Firewall service by using the IFWXFirewall::HookToCompletionPort method.
