Radial Pointer Properties Dialog Box, Pointer Options

Select Pointer Options on the Radial Gauge Properties dialog box to define pointer options for the radial gauge.

Options

Value
Select an aggregate field or type an expression for the value of the pointer.
Pointer type
Select the type of pointer.
- Needle Displays the pointer as a needle.
- Marker Displays the pointer as a marker shape.
- Bar Displays the pointer as a bar.
Needle style
Select the visual style of the needle. Only applicable when Pointer type is Needle.
Marker style
Select the visual style of the marker. Only applicable when Pointer type is Marker.
Bar style
Select the bar style of the marker. Only applicable when Pointer type is Bar.
Placement (relative to scale)
Select the placement of the pointer end in relation to the scale:
- Inside Display the pointer end inside the scale on a gauge.
- Outside Display the pointer end outside the scale on a gauge.
- Cross Display the pointer end so that it crosses the scale.
Distance from scale
Type a value or expression that represents the distance of the range label from the scale, measured as a percentage of gauge width or height, whichever one is greater.
Width
Type a value or expression that represents the width of the pointer.
Length
Type a value or expression that represents the length of the bar pointer. Only applicable when Pointer type is Marker.
