This page provides options to specify form factors and their properties in managed device projects.
Each platform has a default form factor, which you can change to suit the needs of your project. For example, you can select whichever screen size and resolution that you must have.
If a project is open when you make changes, the changes do not appear until you close and reopen the designer window.
To display this dialog box, click Options on the Tools menu, click Device Tools, and then click Form Factors.
Show form factors for platform
Lists installed form factors for the selected platform. Selecting All Platforms displays all forms factors across all installed platforms.Form factors

Sets the default design-time form factor for all new projects targeting the platform selected in Show form factors for platform. (If you selected All Platforms, this option is unavailable.)Save As
Opens the Save As dialog box where you can save a copy of the selected form factor.Rename
Changes the name of the selected form factor.Delete
Deletes the selected form factor.If the Delete button is unavailable, the selected form factor cannot be removed. A form factor cannot be removed if it
Was installed with the product;
Is the default form factor for a platform.
Properties
Launches the Form Factor Properties dialog box for the selected form factor.
