IVSS is a collection of COM-based automation interfaces in the Microsoft.VisualStudio.SourceSafe.Interop namespace that Visual SourceSafe Automation exposes to users. It provides functionality both for automating interactions with a Visual SourceSafe database and for responding to database events.
