Define Query Parameters Dialog Box (Report Builder 2.0)

Use the Define Query Parameters dialog box to specify parameter values when you run a query in a query designer at design time to see sample data. Query parameters filter data on the data source and help to limit the amount of data that a report processes. These values are not saved in the report definition.

Options

  • Parameter Name
    Type the name of the query parameter that you want to use.

  • Parameter Value
    Type the value that you want to use for the query parameter.
