Renders the HTML metatag to the client through the specified text writer.

Parameters

• writer
  Type: System.Web.UI.HtmlTextWriter

  The HTML text writer that writes the HTML metatag to the client.

Remarks

This method replaces the ampersand, double-quotation, single-quotation, less-than, and greater-than characters in VersionName with the appropriate entity references before it writes the HTML metatag to the client.
