Description
The Enable-NetAdapter cmdlet enables a network adapter. A network adapter must be enabled to connect to a network.
Examples
Example 1: Enable a network adapter by the specified name
PS C:\> Enable-NetAdapter -Name "Ethernet 1"
This command is another version of the cmdlet that uses position and wildcard characters.
PS C:\> Enable-NetAdapter "E*2"
This command enables the network adapter named Ethernet 1 and restarts the network adapter.
Example 2: Enable a network adapter by the specified name on a remote computer
PS C:\> Enable-NetAdapter -Name "VMGuestTrafficAdapter" -CimSession "HyperVServer4"
This command enables the network adapter named VMGuestTrafficAdapter on the remote computer named HyperVServer4 and restarts the network adapter.
Parameters
-AsJob 
		Runs the cmdlet as a background job.
Use this parameter to run commands that take a long time to complete.
The cmdlet immediately returns an object that represents the job and then displays the command prompt.
You can continue to work in the session while the job completes.
To manage the job, use the *-Job cmdlets.
To get the job results, use the Receive-Job cmdlet.
