Business value
Developers can now define tooltips at the table level. Any page that uses the field inherits the tooltip, so apps and extensions make reuse much easier.
Feature details
Before this release, if you wanted a tooltip to appear on a field (for example, a tooltip that appears on both a card and a list page), you needed to duplicate the tooltip in those two page objects.
With this release, you define the tooltip on the table. All pages that show the field automatically display the tooltip. On a page, you can override a tooltip defined on the table by specifying a different tooltip on the page.
The AL Language extension for Visual Studio Code now includes code actions that move tooltips from a page to the source table.
