Cloudmersive CDR Connector

The Cloudmersive Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) API enables you to remove security threats from input documents, such as scripts and macros, by tearing them down and rebuilding them securely based on their contents. You can also choose between keeping the file format the same or converting the output to PDF.

Prerequisites

You will need the following to proceed:

  • A Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate or Azure Logic Apps with premium connector support
  • A Cloudmersive API key

How to get credentials

To use this connector, you need a Cloudmersive account. You can sign up with a Microsoft Account or create a Cloudmersive account. Follow the steps below to get your API Key.

Get the API Key and Secret

  • Register for a Cloudmersive Account
  • Click on API Keys

Here you can create and see your API key(s) listed on the API Keys page. Simply copy and paste this API Key into the Cloudmersive CDR Connector.

Now you are ready to start using the Cloudmersive CDR Connector.

Supported Operations

The connector supports the following operations:

  • Content Disarm and Reconstruction on a File: Processes the input file via CDR to produce a secured output file. Input content is parsed, disarmed, and then reconstructed into a new output file with the same file format as the input.
  • Content Disarm and Reconstruction on a File with PDFA Output: Processes the input file via CDR to produce a secured PDF/A output file. Input content is parsed, disarmed, and then reconstructed into a new PDF/A output file.

Creating a connection

The connector supports the following authentication types:
