Summarize recommendations with Microsoft Security Copilot

Microsoft Defender for Cloud's integration with Microsoft Security Copilot lets you summarize a recommendation so you can better understand the risks and vulnerabilities in your environment.

When you summarize a recommendation, you get a quick overview of the recommendation in natural language. This summary helps you understand the information presented in a recommendation and lets you prioritize your remediation efforts.

Prerequisites

• Enable Defender for Cloud on your environment.

• Have access to Azure Copilot.

• Have Security Compute Units assigned for Microsoft Security Copilot.

Summarize with Copilot

After you select a recommendation, use Copilot to summarize it. By using prompts, you can get a better understanding of the recommendation and decide how to handle it.

1. Sign in to the Azure portal.

2. Search for and select Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

3. Go to Recommendations.

4. Select a recommendation.

5. Select Summarize with Copilot.

   

6. Review the provided summary.

7. Enter more prompts as needed.

   

When you understand the recommendation, decide how to handle it. Copilot stays open so you can enter other prompts as needed.
