Returns the cosecant of expr.

Syntax

csc(expr)

Arguments

  • expr: An expression that evaluates to a numeric expressing the angle in radians.

Returns

A DOUBLE.

csc(expr) is equivalent to 1 / sin(expr)

Examples

> SELECT csc(pi() / 2);
  1.0

> SELECT csc(0);
  Infinity
