Generate alerts when resources are created

Is there a method to create alerts whenever a new resource is created? Specifically I'd like to receive alerts when a resource group, VNET, route table, or public IP address is created.

You can create an alert at the Subscription level and receive notification and/or push notification.

What specific signal should be selected when creating the alert rule? I don't see any that correspond to the creation of a resource but maybe I missed it. Thanks.
