Dear Jorge Rodriguez
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum!
I'd be glad to help you get your new Windows 11 system feeling just right. It's completely normal to need some tweaks when moving to a new computer and operating system!
We have two incidents to address: oversized display elements and the printer not being recognized
- Could you tell me the make and model of your printer? Knowing this will allow me to check the manufacturer's website for the specific Windows 11 driver link for you, making the installation much easier.
In the meantime, please consider trying my suggestions and keep me updated with anything news from it:
1. For the Large Icons/Font:
- Go to Settings (Win + I) > System > Display > Under Scale & layout, check the Scale setting and choose the option marked (Recommended) to quickly adjust icon and app size.

2. For the Printer Issue:
- Please restart your printer (unplug, wait 30 seconds, plug back in).
- Go to Settings → System → Troubleshoot → Other troubleshooters → Printer → Run
- Second, check your connection (firm USB cable or ensure PC and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network).
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters > Printer > Run
- Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates > install any printer-related updates
- Third, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners > click Add device, and let Windows search.
- If it doesn't appear, you'll need the latest driver from the printer manufacturer's official website.
Warning: Avoid third-party driver tools—stick to Windows Update or your printer brand’s official site (e.g., HP, Canon).
