Hi Shekhar,
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. I understand how important it is to have quick access to email template, especially if you’ve been using .OFT files in classic Outlook. It’s understandable to feel a bit thrown off when familiar features are changed or removed in newer version.
In the New Outlook, saving emails as .OFT templates isn’t currently supported. This version is designed to be more cloud-based and simplified, which is why some legacy features like .OFT templates aren’t available. Instead, Microsoft recommends using the My Templates add-in. It allows you to save and reuse text snippets in your emails, making it easier to insert frequently used content. However, it’s worth noting that this tool doesn’t support attachments or rich formatting.
To create a template in new Outlook, start a new email, click the three dots or go to the Insert tab, select My Templates, then click + Template to save your message. If you don’t see it, go to Insert > Apps > Add Apps and install My Templates.
Are you looking to include attachments or images in your templates? I’d be happy to help explore other options that might work better for you.
Regards,
Carlo
