We submitted a provider request for one of our projects that uses Outlook Actionable Messages to enable approvers to perform actions directly within the email.

Since one of the approvers is outside our organization, we require the provider ID to be approved for global access. Its been one month now its still has not approved, as this delay is impacting our project timeline.

we continuously follow up on onboardoam@microsoft.com but no reply

Does anyone help me out to get this approved fast.

Thanks and Regards,

    Hi Jaweria Saleem,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

From what you described, your organization submitted a Global scope provider registration for Outlook Actionable Messages because one of the approvers is outside your tenant, and it has been pending for over a month, impacting your project timeline. That is understandably frustrating.

Based on Microsoft’s documentation, there is currently no published SLA for Global scope approvals, and delays can occur for various reasons such as high volume of onboarding requests and manual verification of security and compliance details by the Actionable Messages team. According to the official FAQ: https://free.blessedness.top/en-us/outlook/actionable-messages/actionable-messages-faq#i-have-submitted-a-global-scoped-registration-but-its-not-yet-approved (excluding the temporary pause notice, which is no longer relevant), your approach of reaching out to onboardoam@microsoft.com is correct in the current situation. However, the Actionable Messages team may be experiencing a high volume of requests, which could potentially explain the delay.

While waiting for a response, I strongly recommend reviewing the Registration criteria again: https://free.blessedness.top/en-us/outlook/actionable-messages/email-dev-dashboard#registration-criteria. Even if you’ve already checked, it’s worth a second look to ensure all details are fully compliant.

If everything meets the requirements and you still haven’t received approval, another option is to submit a support ticket through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. This does not guarantee faster processing, but it can help escalate visibility and potentially provide insight into the current status of your registration.

I completely understand how delays like this can put pressure on your project timeline. It’s frustrating when critical dependencies are outside your control. Hopefully, these steps help you gain clarity and move things forward as quickly as possible. Wishing you success in getting this resolved soon.
