My Motorola phone was recently ran over and it is not useable. how do i connect it to my laptop so that I can try to pull anything I want from my phone to my laptop. I would like to be able to open whatever files &/or photos I have on the device & view them on my laptop. i can plug the phone in and itwill show that it is connected but I do not see the phone or any of the filkes/folders on my laptop or through that settings menu. how can i get it to display or get found on my laptop? i hope to hear from someone soon who can help me get this done. I have never had a problem before and iy gets frustrating!! Please help i will appreciate any help doing this! thank you in advance for the help.

    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

I'm afraid that if your phone was physically damaged and you can’t use the screen or unlock it, your computer won’t be able to access the files, even though it detects the phone, because Android devices require you to unlock the screen and select File Transfer mode before data becomes accessible.

Could you please tell me the model number of your Motorola phone?
