When doing calculations in the search bar, my previous calculations show up as well and cannot be deleted.

There is no reason to have a calculator history in the search bar anyways, but all my previous one-off calculations in the search bar always autofill and clog up the screen when I do another calculation. Furthermore, when I try to click the "X" button on the right to clear it, it lingers and stays there regardless. The only way to get rid of these useless calculations is by clearing my history, but I don't want to have to wipe my whole history just to get rid of a few numbers that shouldn't even be there in the first place. What is the point of this and why can't I just delete the autofill suggestions for the calculator like I can for everything else? Screenshot (5)

What you’re seeing is the search bar / Windows Search autocomplete storing previous “calculations” as part of its search history. Unfortunately, Windows treats them just like any other recent search, so there isn’t a separate “calculator history” you can clear selectively—clicking the “X” sometimes fails because it’s cached in the system index. Clear search history completely. Turn off search history (prevents future clutter). Use a separate calculator app

    Hi,

Those are suggestions from your history using your typed characters. You can stop them from appearing by disabling it in Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Search and connected experiences > Address bar and search > Search suggestions and filters > Show suggestions from history, favorites and other data on this device using your typed characters.
