App Service Domains are specific Azure services with features that are often tied to specific subscription tiers. "Pay-as-you-go" subscriptions may not support direct purchase and management of App Service Domains.
The error code SubscriptionExceededMaxDomainLimit suggests that the subscription either has a limit or is entirely ineligible. In this context, it points to ineligibility for App Service Domain registration on a standard PAYG account.
