hoe do I get phoyos uploaded from a camera card?

I inserted a card from a camera into my laptop and I can,t find the photos. How do I know if the down loaded. I would like them downloaded into my google photos.

    Hello,

    After you inserted the card into the laptop, you need to open File Explorer, then go to This PC. Look for the drive that represents your removable disk reader. Double click to access it, and find your photos files in there.

    Once you find them, you can copy them, and paste them into the Pictures folder for example. Or if you have Google Drive already installed, you can paste them into your Google Drive. Or upload to Google via https://photos.google.com/
