With what iOS app are you trying to access your MSN mailbox? Are you using Outlook for iOS, the topic of this forum? Does your address end in msn.com? How did you add the account to your mail app - that is, what steps did you take? Typically, Outlook for iOS will not use IMAP to connect to an MSN/Microsoft account mailbox.
Brian, I WAS not using the correct IOS app to access my email account. Apparently my default mail app had quit working on my iPhone and downloading the correct app solved the problem. Thank you for reply, I have been researching this issue for days, your questions to me made me realize what needed to be done.
