I don't see the power query tools (Transform) on my excel Ribbon. Why is that?

    hello AsithaS,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum

I understand you can't find the Power Query Tools on your Excel ribbon.

What version of Office are you using?

The Power Query tools are usually under the Data tab in the Get & Transform Data group.

    If you don’t see them:

    • Go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon and check if the Data tab is enabled.
    • Press the Reset button to reset the ribbon customization if necessary.

Make sure you have all the require components, to run Power Query in Excel for Windows requires:

    • .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later
    • Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime, if these are missing, some features may not load.

Feel free to reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.
