Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Just download the Minecraft Launcher from the Microsoft Store, then sign in with the same Microsoft account you used to purchase the game. Once you’re signed in, it should recognize your purchase and let you reinstall it.

However, if you chose not to keep your files during the reset, your saved worlds might be lost since they’re stored locally on your PC.

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thank you for letting me know.

Please make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account you used to purchase Minecraft. Then visit your order history here: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders Make sure to adjust the date range at the top of the page so it shows older purchases,, you might not see it right away if it was bought a while ago.

If Minecraft appears there, that means your license is still linked to that account. Just sign in with that same account in both the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Launcher.

If it doesn’t appear, it might have been purchased under a different Microsoft or Xbox account.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you for trying those steps and letting me know.

I suggest contacting Microsoft Support via live chat for further assistance:

    • Here is the link: https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    • Type this keyword and press Enter: Contact Support.
    • At the bottom, click "Sign in to contact support" and sign in with your Personal Microsoft account (Not work or school account), or click "Contact Support" if you're already signed in.
    • In Product and services, select "Windows".
    • In Category, select "Technical support."
    • Click "Chat with a support agent in your web browser".

If you ever find yourself stuck in a loop, please use the keywords "Contact Support" or "Live Chat" (without the quotes) and click "Contact Support" at the bottom.

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
