    Hi redjim,

You can use the exact same account you used to write the question here. For your Microsoft account based on GMail address, you can add an alias like an address for Outlook.com on this page:

    User's image

I hope you find this information useful. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out. Otherwise, please take a moment to accept the answer. Wishing you good luck!

Was typing a reply too : well, listen : IMO = In My Opinion. To set up a new

windows 11 desktop Pc you need to use and - Sign Up - with a Microsoft Account.

To access all the MSoft apps and make changes - in your New operating system

-- There're methods to set up a new. Windows OS without, using

a Microsoft account, but are not advisable to do so.

You can continue having your : Gmail account to send and receive mail -- or if you prefer

you can install a 2nd - Email account like the new Outlook.com or outlook on the Web.

The decision is up to you. if you find this answer useful : Rate it with Yes or No.
