Today, using Outlook for web on Samsung Galaxy S24, it was not possible to sign-out the usual way, except by closing the browser tab and clearing all cookies etc.

However, I found a workaround that you may be interested in: Before attempting to sign-out, set the browser (e.g. Chrome) to Desktop site - this makes the text etc. very small, so zoom in and the sign-out the usual way. It works. for me.

This is a recent issue, like today, it's been fine previously so I suspect an issue with the Outlook webpage coding.

Interestingly, it didn't happen on an S24 plus, which has a different screen resolution.

For those that don't know how, the Desktop site option is accessed from a web page in Chrome via:

  • Three dots (top right)
  • Scroll down to Desktop site
  • Click the square box next to it
