outlook jpegs not showing up on .mac account

when I send an e mail with or without an attachment to my .mac account (Mac Mail program) from outlook
a winmail.dat is attached
when I try to attch a jpeg, the .mac account does not receive the jpg, only the jpg name with the
winmail.dat is dispalyed
this happens when sending through mac mail program or straight outlook
When I check it through my phone, the jpg is there. MAC OS 15.7.1
