    Dear Vijay Kumar N,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

I understand you're facing a situation where BitLocker is requesting a recovery key on your All-in-One (AIO) PC, and you need assistance with unlocking or removing it. To solve this issue:

    1. Finding your BitLocker Recovery Key:
      • Your Microsoft Account: This is the most common place. On another device (phone or different computer), go to https://account.microsoft.com/devices/recoverykey (or use the shortcut aka.ms/myrecoverykey) and sign in with the Microsoft account you use on the locked AIO PC. Look for a key that matches the Recovery Key ID shown on your BitLocker screen.
      • Did you save the key to a USB drive when you first set up BitLocker or the PC? If so, insert that USB drive when prompted by the recovery screen.
      • Did you save the key as a text file on another drive or network location?
      • Did you print the recovery key and store it somewhere safe?
      • If the PC is associated with a workplace or school, the key might be stored in your organization's Azure Active Directory account. Try aka.ms/aadrecoverykey or contact your IT administrator.
Once you find the 48-digit numerical key, carefully enter it on the BitLocker recovery screen.

Unfortunately, if the recovery key cannot be located in any of the potential locations, Microsoft support cannot provide or recreate the key, nor bypass the encryption. The security is designed specifically to prevent access without the correct key.

In this situation, the only way to make the PC usable again is typically to Reinstall Windows with the installation media. This process will erase all data, files, applications, and settings currently on the encrypted drive. You would need to boot the PC from a Windows installation media (like a USB drive) and follow the steps to install a fresh copy of Windows, formatting the drive during the setup process.

Disclaimer: At this point, we have exhausted all troubleshooting and I recommend that we try to perform a clean install to get your computer back into a working condition. Please ensure that you backup any important data, including Documents, Pictures, Videos and more.

I understand this might not be the answer you were hoping for if the key is lost, but it's the reality of how BitLocker encryption security works.
