Hello,

So recently I changed motherboard and got problems with sound. I am using Logitech Z906, on the previous mbo sound worked perfectly and now it doesnt work. Ive tried installing new realtek drivers from my mbo website and installing latest amd chipset, Ive tried setting to 5.1, Ive disabled audio enchantments, nothing seems to work but when I play test or some song, as shown in the image above it shows that something is playing. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi ,

We'll use DDU to remove all Reatlek drivers.

    You can use DDU: https://www.guru3d.com/download/display-driver-uninstaller-download/

Note: DDU is a third-party application to completely delete and reinstall the GPU driver.

    1. After downloading, extract ddu to a folder.
    2. Run the driver screen uninstaller.exe application, select Model tab, put GPU. After uninstalling the Sound Driver, uninstall it for Realtek.
    3. Click on the First option clean and reboot and wait for the process to finish.
    4. After running DDU and install driver :

    https://download.asrock.com/Drivers/All/LAN/Realtek_LAN(v10.060.0615.2022).zip

Open the command prompt (admin) and run the commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, wait for the process to finish and restart the computer.

    Then perform a clean boot

Access the Realtek console and configure the inputs as you did in the Logitech Sound panel.

    HI

Do the following test with the generic driver to see if it works. If it doesn't work, I'm sorry, it's a hardware problem with your card—it might be faulty.

To use the generic audio driver that comes with Windows:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager and select it from the results.

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it. Select Realtek Sound.

Select and hold (or right-click) the listing for your sound card or audio device and select Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.

Select the audio device whose driver you want to update, select Next, and follow the instructions to install it.
