Are you able to see a list of all hidden chats anywhere in teams?

I accidentally hid one of my chats in teams on Windows, but I don't remember exactly what it was called or who it was for. Is there a way to see all the chats I have hidden so I'm able to unhide it again?

    Hi @Emily Shoji

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

It appears you’ve accidentally hidden a chat in Teams and aren’t sure which one it was, totally understandable, especially when managing multiple conversations.

Even without remembering the exact name or person, you can still recover it. Here’s how:

1/ Go to the Chat tab in the left sidebar.

2/ Use the Search bar at the top:

    • Type keywords you remember from the conversation (e.g., topic, name, or even a phrase).
    • Teams will show matching messages and chats, including hidden ones.
    • Click View all results to see a full list of matching chats, including hidden one

3/ Once you find the chat, click on it to open.

    • It will automatically reappear in your chat list.
    • Optional: Click on Show hidden chat history to see the history chat
