    Dear Zack Fitzgerald

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Community. I understand that you are not receiving all of your emails and want to reset your Outlook settings. I’m happy to assist you with this.

Option 1: Reset Outlook.com (Web) Settings

Outlook.com does not have a single “reset all settings” button, but you can restore key features to default:

    1. Check Focused Inbox and Filters
    2. Go to Outlook.com.
      1. Click Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Layout.
      2. Turn off Focused Inbox or adjust filters to ensure all emails appear in your Inbox.
      3. Remove any custom rules under Mail > Rules
      4. Clear Blocked Senders and Safe Senders
      • Navigate to Mail > Junk Email.
      • Remove any addresses or domains that might block incoming mail.
      • Verify Forwarding Settings
      • Under Mail > Forwarding, ensure forwarding is disabled unless you need it.
    3. Check Storage
    4. If your mailbox or OneDrive storage is full, new emails will not arrive.
      1. Visit Manage storage for details
      2. Please also check : Can't send or Receive email in Outlook

Option 2: Reset Outlook Desktop App to Default

If you use the Outlook desktop client and want to fully reset settings:

    1. Close Outlook completely.
    2. Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles
    3. Select your profile and click Remove (back up data first).
    4. Click Add to create a new profile and reconfigure your account.

Alternatively, if you only want to reset the view:

    • Open Outlook > View tab > Reset View.

    Option 3: Troubleshoot Missing Emails

    Before resetting, check :

    • Review Junk Email and Other tab (Focused Inbox).
    • Disable Work Offline mode.
    • Clear cache and update Outlook.
