Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Are you opening the file using the Excel app for Windows, or are you viewing it through Excel for the web (OneDrive or SharePoint)?

If it’s stored in OneDrive, try opening it online at https://onedrive.live.com sometimes the latest version is saved there even if the local copy looks outdated.

If you’re using the Excel app for Windows, try these steps:

    • Go to File > Info > Manage Workbook and check for any AutoRecover or Unsaved File versions.
    • You can also right-click the file in File Explorer, choose Properties, then check the Previous Versions tab.

Lastly, look in this folder for unsaved files: C:\Users<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles

Was the file originally saved on your PC or synced to OneDrive?
