Adding custom attribute mappings to Add Member (Update Groups) requests.

When adding members to a group, I receive two requests :

  1. A requests that create / update the groups (which includes my group custom attributes mappings)
  2. A patch request with an 'Add' operation and the member's ID as a value

I'd like to also receive an additional mapping with the second request. Is there any way to do so?

    Hello @FL-5781,

The ability to include custom attribute mappings in the PATCH /Groups/{id}/members request depends on the specific API of your identity management system. If the standard endpoint doesn't support it, explore alternative endpoints for group roles or membership assignments. If neither option is available, implement a post-processing step to update the member's attributes within the context of the group after the member is added.

    Implement Post-Processing if Necessary

[If the standard PATCH /members endpoint doesn't support custom attributes and no alternative endpoints exist, implement a post-processing step. After successfully adding a member using PATCH /members, make a separate API request to update the member's attributes within the context of the group. This might involve a custom endpoint or a specific way to associate attributes with the group membership.]
