outlook logged me out of my email and using my mobile to receive a code is not working

I noticed that I had been logged out of my outlook email on my laptop and my mobile. I tried to re-enter my password too many times and was locked. I have 2 factor authentication set up so used different email to help unlock but didn't work. When I use my mobile no to receive a text code it says 'try another verification method'.

    If you unable to log in using the Authentication app. try our sign in helper
