Cannot access our Azure Portal! We urgently need to add resources on a project in testing!

When I signed up for Azure in 2020, we used my email to set up Azure as an administrator. Since then Microsoft has made many changes to the rules around Microsoft Login. We also signed up for Microsoft 365 since then with my email. As I am CTO and founder of a small company I may have used a different "alias" email to do so. But the integration of microsoft accounts has had issues (Skype, Teams, Azure, Outlook, now 365).

Today, none of our administrative emails can access the Azure Portal. They all only access our 365 (or DevOps resources that are separate with our Lead Engineer). I get invoices to my email, that are paid because a card is on file.

We urgently need to add resources including another VM and to add a second administrator to the account. We are actively using the azure subscription space - but cannot get to the portal or administration.

I cannot complete a support ticket as there are no Azure subscriptions under our company 365 account. The system will not let me submit.

I am amazed that there are NO phone or email support resources available. This is an urgent federal project that our company is completing and must be tested by mid-November. We cannot model the government infrastructure without accessing the portal!

PLEASE HELP!!

    Hello @MickeyLutz-2062

The core issue is an identity conflict between the original Azure account and the Microsoft 365 account. Billing support is the most effective way to bypass the portal login requirement.

The support agent will either restore access to the original Microsoft Account or add one of your current administrative emails as the Global Administrator or Owner directly on the subscription resource level.

    Billing Support:

    • Navigate to the general Microsoft Support page.
    • Select "Subscriptions and Billing" or "Manage my account."
    • Look for a link like "I don't have an Azure subscription" or "Contact Support without signing in."
    • Provide billing details (email address, last four digits of the credit card).
    • Request an escalation, stating you are the original administrator, unable to access the portal due to an identity conflict, and the issue is urgent due to a time-sensitive federal project.
