Hello Microsoft,
I'm unable to delete my VPN Gateway despite trying through the Azure portal, Powershell, and Azure CLI. It remains in a Failed state.
Could you please advise?

I understand that you're having trouble deleting your VPN Gateway because it remains in a Failed state. When you experience this issue, it can often be due to resource dependencies that need to be cleared beforehand. Here’s what you can try:
- Go to your VPN Gateway in the Azure portal and look at the Connections section. Make sure to delete any connections linked to the gateway first. You can do this by:
- Clicking on Connections.
- Finding each connection and clicking the '...' to select Delete.
- Confirming the action by clicking Yes.
- After clearing the connections, ensure that you delete any associated resources that depend on your VPN Gateway:
- Local Network Gateways: Check for any local network gateways linked to your VPN Gateway and delete them.
- Public IP Address: If your Gateway has an associated public IP address, locate and delete that as well.
- Gateway Subnet: Lastly, ensure to remove the GatewaySubnet from your virtual network.
After clearing all the previously mentioned resources, you can proceed to delete the VPN gateway using either the Azure portal or PowerShell. For detailed instructions, refer to the official documentation provided below.
