I have a SQL Server 2017 license, but I can't find the email address it was purchased with. I don't think it's tied to a tenant, but it could be tied to another account, but I can't figure out which one. Isn't there a form where I can enter the license code and get the associated email address? Or something similar?

    Hi there Meteo Solutions

    Thanks for using QandA platform

Unfortunately, there’s no public portal where you can enter a SQL Server license key to retrieve the associated email. The license itself doesn’t store the email in a way that’s accessible externally. The only options are:

    1. Check purchase records:
    2. Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC)

There isn’t a self-service method to extract the email directly from the license key. Keeping purchase emails or VLSC access is the safest way to track license ownership.
